Clear UCAS guidance for Year 12 students and parents
University applications can feel difficult when course choices, deadlines and personal statement questions all arrive at once. UandUCAS helps you turn uncertainty into practical next steps, ensuring every UK student has access to independent, honest guidance.
Guidance for students
Our mission is to empower students in Year 12 and Year 13 to take control of their university application journey. By providing a structured approach to course comparison and application planning, we help families have clearer conversations about the future.
Guidance for parents and carers
Parents and carers often want reassurance that course choices are realistic, deadlines are understood and the student is preparing responsibly. UandUCAS is designed to support clearer family conversations while keeping the student's application authentic and student-led.
What UandUCAS helps you do
For applications from 2026 entry onwards, students respond to three structured personal statement questions within a total 4,000-character allowance. UandUCAS can help students plan, review and improve their own authentic responses without writing the application for them.
We provide independent UCAS guidance that focuses on clarity and relevance. By helping you connect your academic preparation and outside-school experiences to your chosen university course, we ensure your application represents your true potential.
Start with your next best step
Answer a short set of questions about your application stage, course planning and preparation. You will receive clearer next-step guidance based on where you are now.
Whether you are just starting to explore university options in Year 12 or you are refining your application in Year 13, our readiness check identifies exactly where you are and what you need to focus on next. It's a practical way to manage the complexity of UCAS application planning.
